Custom Color Palette

The custom color palette provides users with the ability to define a set of commonly used colors and quickly select those colors when drawing. Users can set up to sixteen unique colors in the palette.

To display the custom color palette select Color Palette... from the main menu (Blue Pencil->Color Palette...) or right-click on the Toolbox and select Color Palette...

Note: The palette colors may all be white when first using Blue Pencil. See the section below for customizing the palette colors.

Customizing the Palette

To change the colors of the palette:

  1. Right-click on the Color Palette and select Customize... from the context menu. The Customize Color Palette dialog will be displayed.
  2. At the bottom-left of the dialog is the Custom colors section. These are the colors displayed in the palette.
  3. Drag-and-drop new colors into the custom color slots, either from the base colors or the custom color select (on the right).
  4. Click OK to close the color dialog.
