Blue Pencil 1.5 includes a new demo mode that allows users to experience many of the features available in this powerful plug-in. The plug-in defaults to demo mode when a license is not installed.
After many months in development, Blue Pencil 1.5 has been released and is available now.
The Blue Pencil 1.5 release is a mix of new features and streamlined workflows. At the heart of 1.5 is a new layering system that allows users to create and manage multiple layers.
As always, this update is free to existing users.
This preview demonstrates a new layering system that allows users to create multiple layers and assign them to different cameras. The drawings/keyframes are unique to each layer allowing for separate animation of characters, props, notes and more. Create and delete layers as needed. Additionally, the Layer Manager allows for layer reordering, camera switching and toggling layer visibility.
A Blue Pencil 1.5 beta release will be made available to current users in the near future.
An update for Charcoal Editor is now available.
The latest release adds several new features including an Outline View filter for hiding specific view elements and a Go To dialog for quickly jumping to specific locations. Additionally, a number of new hotkeys have been added to improve general workflow.
